Girl Behind the Blog

I'm Kara.  I'm in my early fourties, yet I still think of myself as a girl.  I am a free spirit, exploring the world and learning new things every day.  There are three things that anchor me: my love for God, my love for family and my love for you.

I've lived in so many places, "home" has become wherever my husband, two girls and I currently live. I've lived in Vermont, Virginia 3 times, Colorado, Florida 5 times, Switzerland, and Alabama. In 2016, I was a full time RVer with my husband and two little girls for nearly a year between careers.

I've always felt the need for a "walkabout," but haven't done it yet. Our RV trip quieted that longing for at least a decade.

I am an Artist, Seamstress, Writer and Stay at Home Mom. 

My passion is to encourage and inspire YOU to love life and pursue your dreams.  I truly believe the source of a fulfilling life is not usually found in an organized office or home, an organized schedule, innovative activities or any three point plan for success. Tools of this sort are helpful, but they are not the true source of joy.  True joy is found in a daily connection to the Source of Wisdom, Who gives daily inspiration to those who have eyes to see and a heart that is open. Tapping into our Source is necessary no matter who you are or what you do. Without a deep connection to Source, we whither and die, some of us faster than others.
